Patricia Egan Daehnke

Litigation Experience and Results
PATRICIA EGAN DAEHNKE is the Managing and Founding Partner of DRR Law Group. She serves as lead trial counsel in complex high damage cases involving catastrophic injuries, including quadriplegia, traumatic brain injury, and wrongful death. Tricia specializes in the defense of health care professionals in state and federal court and before professional licensing boards. She has successfully argued cases before the appellate courts of both California and Nevada. Tricia is recognized as a leading lawyer in both California and Nevada, being named a Top Woman Lawyer by the Los Angeles Daily Journal, A Woman of Distinction by California Women Lawyers, and a Top Lawyer by NPR’s Desert Companion and Vegas, Inc. She has been selected as a Super Lawyer in Medical Malpractice Defense every year since 2007. Tricia is an Associate of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) and serves on the Executive Committee of the Los Angeles Chapter and serves as chair of Women in ABOTA (WABOTA). She is board-certified as a Medical Malpractice Specialist by the American Board of Professional Liability Attorneys (ABPLA). Tricia is also board-certified as a Civil Trial Specialist and Civil Practice Advocate by the National Board of Trial Advocacy (NBTA). She is a Senior Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America, a trial attorney honorary society comprised of less than one-half of one percent of American lawyers.
Tricia received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Loyola Marymount University. She graduated cum laude from Gonzaga University School of Law where she was a Thomas More Scholar, President of the Moot Court Honors Council, Chair of the Martin Luther King Committee, and a Gonzaga Law Review Associate Editor. A fifth-generation Californian and native Angeleno, she obtained her Nevada license while serving a judicial clerkship with then Chief Justice Robert Rose of the Nevada Supreme Court.
Tricia is committed to volunteer work and service to the community. She has served as President of the Los Angeles County Bar Association (LACBA), Chair of the LACBA Litigation Section, Chair of the LACBA Delegation to the California Conference of Delegates, and as a member of the Judicial Council Civil and Small Claims Advisory Committee. She is the founder and current Co-Chair of LACBA President’s Advisory Committee on Women in the Legal Profession and Chairs the Association of Southern California Defense Counsel CACI Committee. Tricia serves on the statewide California Bench-Bar Coalition and for years served on the Los Angeles Superior Court Central Civil Bench/Bar Liaison Committee and is a Chancery Club member. Tricia was honored to receive the Charles R. English Spirit Award from the LACBA Delegation (2016) and the Matthew S. Rae Outstanding Section Leader Award (2008) for her leadership of the LACBA Litigation Section.
Tricia is a member of the State Bar of California, the State Bar of Nevada, and the State Bar of Colorado. She is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and the United States District Courts for the District of Nevada and the Northern, Central and Southern Districts of California.

Tricia is a member of the State Bar of California, the State Bar of Nevada and the State Bar of Colorado. Tricia is also admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, the United States District Courts for the District of Nevada and the Central and Southern Districts of California.
Tricia is a fifth-generation Californian and in her spare time enjoys spending time with her husband, attorney Kevin Daehnke, and their two children.
